Stack or Nest Dimensions
You can show more than one Dimension as row or column headings. This is referred to as Stacking or Nesting Dimensions.
Create stacked Dimensions as follows:
1. Click and drag more than one dimension to the Rows or Columns,
e.g., click and drag Product to the Page section, Region to Columns, and Month above Sales Account in Rows.
2. Press F9 to recalculate.
3. In the PowerOLAP ribbon, select Slice tab, Close Slice command to close the slice.
4. Click No.
Notes
Performing a constrained calculation on a Slice forces an immediate calculation of every possible data point in the data range requested, including those which will result in a constrained value. This differs from a non-constrained Slice in that a non-constrained Slice only calculates data points that are currently displayed in the PowerOLAP user interface. The successful completion of sizable constrained Slices is greatly impacted by design techniques and efficiencies within the database model.
