Values Only Worksheet

This fifth option called ‘Values Only’ worksheet enables you to generate Excel reports out of PowerOLAP slices which do not have connection to the PowerOLAP database, thus making them look like ordinary Excel worksheets.

The worksheet generated contains information regarding the data being accessed, such as the particular database, cube and dimension components relevant to and from which the range of data was retrieved from. However, unlike the reports generated through the use of the previous Excel connection types, the Values Only worksheet do not contain an OLAP Excel function or a formula reference that will provide the connection between the PowerOLAP database and the Excel worksheet.
